FabDoYouMeme

The seed was a copy of one specific party game, the kind where you trade memes for fake internet points. But every commercial version of these feeds an ad pipeline, and “invite-only” still means trusting somebody else’s server with your friends. So I started building our own.

Once the first game worked, the platform around it became the project. FabDoYouMeme is being widened into a single self-hosted home for the rest of the party-game shelf: same login, same friend list, same trust boundary. You host it, you and your friends are the only people on it, and no third party sits in the loop. The technical pieces stay boring on purpose so a friend who wants their own instance is one compose file away.
